Calling All Americans

It's election day tomorrow, so cross your fingers, knock on wood, pray to whomever the fuck you want to pray to, just hope for us Canucks we can get through this without electing Harper. Oh, and in case of the inevitable, could one of you folks down there hit up Bush's office, and convince him Harper's an underground Muslim? Mention something about big bombs and uranium.
When elections fail, just get the US of A to blow the fucker kingdom come, that's my motto.
Oh, yeah, and please make sure to provide Bush with an accurate map of the location of the Parliment buildings, would ya? Not my house.
Thanks.

Bush doesn't talk to me. I'm neither rich, nor gullible, so he figures he's wasting his time.

But good luck with the Harper fellow. He sounds like a right douche, I think.

douche is an understatement...he's scary, creepy/slimy/amphibian looking and has a myraid of bad fiscal and social policies.

Fisher Price Little People have more life in their eyes and emotion in their faces than Harper has displayed in his life.

I've seen a picture of the fellow on the news. (Condolences, by the way. Hide your civil rights in the cabinet before he finds them, okay?)

The Fisher Price description is somewhat accurate in that his brown hair mold looks like a perfectly smooth piece of plastic, his spine doesn't seem to bend and his hands are made of little cuff shaped plastic semi-circles. He looks as though he'd be at home in the Lego Senate Building. The conservative wing.

I'm actually a little curious to see where this goes. Now that we don't have to worry about a majority, at least, and with the Liberals and NDP making threatening noises in the direction of forming a coalition and taking over...could be interesting.
That and at least the NDP gained ten seats, there is a chance that in my life time they'll be seen as a legitimate party. Who knows.

But yeah, Harper is pretty freaky. At least it's not a majority.

(I just keep telling myself that.)

Very disappointed...are we so stupid that we don't care about our rights? I guess we are. At least they lost ground in BC. One province is smart in comparison to the rest.

Hey now PornStar, be nice. The maritimes have always been smarter than the rest when it comes to voting federally, and look who we re-elected for Premier from hell. Blame Ontario, not Canada as a whole. And maybe Alberta too.

It is actually the rural people we have to fear. Conservative ridings just can't take hold where thought has expanded. The more exposure to culture, education, job options and social mobility one has the least likely they will vote in a conservative government. So much for the small town community feel. This really shows where it is every man/woman for themselves. It is especially interesting that the more resource based an economy, the greater the conservative vote. They would rather sellout to the south than allow the Feds control. Mission: Innovative career opportunities to the rural and suburban areas. Yet another reason to cherish the internet.

Shadow of a doubt: you are wise beyond your years. Unless you are really, really old. Like a million. But if you're not a million years old, you're probably just all kinds of smart. Because everything you just said there is crazy true. And by "crazy true", I mean...you know. True. Accurate. I tend to ramble, but the pont being: good point.
